Terms of sale
These terms apply to every order placed at lecabinetnoir.com. Placing an order means you accept them.
What you are buying
A decant is a small amount of an original fragrance, filled by hand from a bottle we bought into a Cabinet Noir vial and sold under our own label. Cabinet Noir is an independent shop, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fragrance house named on this site. Bottle photographs show the original fragrance; your order arrives in our vial.
Fragrance batches can vary slightly from year to year, and a decant can only be as fresh as the bottle it came from. Each vial carries a lot number that identifies that bottle.
Prices and availability
Prices are in US dollars and can change at any time; you pay the price shown at checkout. Sales tax is added where required. Each bottle holds a limited amount, so a size can sell out between your visit and your order. If we cannot fill something you paid for, we refund that item in full.
Payment
Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout. We never see or store your card number. An order is confirmed once payment succeeds.
Shipping and returns
We ship within the United States only. Decants are final sale, and a decant that arrives leaked, broken or wrong is replaced or refunded. The details are on our shipping and returns page.
Using fragrance safely
Fragrance is flammable: keep it away from heat and flame. It is for external use only; keep it away from eyes and out of reach of children. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, test a small amount first and stop if irritation occurs. Notes listed on the site come from the house and published sources and are not a complete ingredient list.
Personal use
Decants are sold for personal use. We may decline or cancel orders that appear to be for resale.
Our responsibility
If something goes wrong with an order, our responsibility is limited to replacing the item or refunding what you paid for it, as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
