The composition
Roasted black tea leads Bubble Tea, aromatic and lightly floral. Milk and brown sugar bring a gentle sweetness, while a soft, powdery texture recalls tapioca pearls. The tea stays distinct as the fragrance warms on skin.
The comfort of a familiar drink, translated into scent. This gourmand has a mellow, milky character, with enough of the roasted tea coming through to make each return to it a pleasure.
How it wears
Bubble Tea suits daytime, and Fragrantica voters spread it across spring, summer and fall. Fragrantica's launch review found it stayed refreshing in 90-degree heat. The black tea is roasted and a little astringent at first; florals surface after about an hour, and the sweetness arrives late as a light, musky vanilla. Parfumo voters rate its longevity a little above its sillage, and several wearers call it a skin scent later on.
Compared with
- Strawberry Mochid'Annam
- Parfumo wearers say Bubble Tea shares the soft, starchy texture of this house sibling. Strawberry Mochi is fruitier and sweeter, with strawberry, glutinous rice and red bean paste; Bubble Tea puts roasted black tea in front.
- DulcetKida Kyo
- Another milk tea scent in our catalog. Dulcet is creamier and more dessert-like, with yuzu, custard mochi and vanilla; Bubble Tea is drier and more tea-forward, with a roasted black tea that stays distinct.

Questions about Bubble Tea
Does d'Annam Bubble Tea smell like real bubble tea?
Loosely. Bubble Tea leads with roasted black tea, then a soft, powdery starchiness that wearers link to tapioca pearls, with milk and brown sugar arriving gently. Parfumo reviewers describe it as d'Annam's take on the drink rather than a literal copy.
Is d'Annam Bubble Tea very sweet?
No. Fragrantica's launch review says Bubble Tea is not a full-frontal gourmand and that its sweetness is tuned to Asian rather than American tastes. Many Parfumo wearers find it less sweet than they expected, though a few find it sweeter than they like.
Who makes Bubble Tea and who is the perfumer?
Bubble Tea is from d'Annam, a fine fragrance house from Vietnam, released in 2026 as a tribute to Taiwan's bubble tea. The house's product page credits no perfumer; Fragrantica's launch coverage names Luis Hou of IFF.
Where is the full bottle of Bubble Tea sold?
In the US, d'Annam sells Bubble Tea on its own site, which ships to the US. Luckyscent, ZGO Perfumery, Arielle Shoshana and The Drydown also stock the full bottle of Bubble Tea.
