The composition
Oud Cadenza opens hot and spiced, with saffron, cardamom and cinnamon folded into a toasted sugar accord. The oud arrives soon after, smoothed by candied dates, davana and cocoa butter, and the drydown settles into vanilla, toasted tonka and a thread of myrrh smoke.
For all that sweetness, it never turns syrupy; the oud keeps it dark and grown up. It suits cold nights, long dinners and the evenings when you want something rich and dressed up.
