The composition
Dulcet opens on the creamy warmth of milk tea, brightened by yuzu and bergamot. Brown sugar and custard mochi follow, soft and gently powdery, with a hint of mimosa. Vanilla, benzoin and sandalwood settle it into a smooth, warm finish.
Its sweetness stays light and close to the skin, more comforting than rich. A natural pick for easy days and quiet evenings, and an inviting way into milky gourmands.
How it wears
Dulcet is a cozy, close scent, and Kida Kyo suggests it for evenings and close settings. Fragrantica's small group of voters lean toward fall and spring and toward daytime, so it works most of the year. The yuzu and bergamot lift the milk tea briefly at the start; after that it stays largely linear, a soft brown sugar and sandalwood cream. A Parfumo reviewer describes its projection as soft.

Is Dulcet the same as Dulcet No. 06?
Yes. Dulcet is the sixth of Kida Kyo's six fragrances, and the house and Fragrantica list it as Dulcet No. 06. It launched in 2025 and was composed by perfumer Pia Long, whom Kida Kyo credits on its product page.
Is Kida Kyo Dulcet an Eau de Parfum or a Parfum?
The Dulcet bottle is labeled Eau de Parfum, and that is how we list it. Kida Kyo's product page title calls it No. 06 Parfum, so you may see both names for the same fragrance.
What does Kida Kyo Dulcet smell like?
Dulcet smells like a lightly sweetened milk tea: creamy milk and yuzu at first, brown sugar and a soft, almost powdery mochi in the middle, and vanilla and sandalwood underneath. Perfumer Pia Long says she wanted a gourmand that still wears like a perfume.
